lyrics
Quiet expression in your eyes
I wanna know all you hide
Gentle calm seeps from your pores
Warm colors melt through the skies
When you say nothing you can mean so much
And I hear you speak through your touch
You make me feel so elated
You're so cute I get frustrated
Listening to the songs that remind me of the days
That we had together before you went away
Listening to the songs that bring back those memories
I'm counting down the hours til you're back here with me
Brown sugar, warm sticky honey
I'd give you all my money
You're so understated
You're so cute I get frustrated
When you say nothing you can mean so much
And I hear you speak through your touch
You make me feel so elated
You're so cute I get frustrated
Listening to the songs that remind me of the days
That we had together before you went away
Listening to the songs that bring back those memories
I'm counting down the hours til you're back here with me
This album is my favorite of the year so far, and got me through the hellish April I had. I listened to it pretty much after every shift at work, and I even added "I Hate the Weekend" to a playlist to play in our store every damn weekend I have to work there. I can't really pick a favorite track, but I went with "Talk" because it sounds great and it celebrates my kind of night in. Keep up the amazing work, I hope I get to see Tacocat perform someday! Winter McQuinn mixes soft rock and psychedelic folk for a sound reminiscent of classic pop purveyors like Cut Worms and the Lemon Twigs. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 16, 2024
If it sounds like it fits in with the soundtracks for "Empire Records" or "But I'm a Cheerleader", I love it.
Lyrically, this is the most relatable album I've ever listened to. drewcifer
